Baka ("Baka", "we", "us") is building a discounts and rewards network for consumers and businesses in Accra. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it while Baka is in its early-launch stage.
Information we collect
When you join Baka as a consumer, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, gender, email address, district, town or area, and the spending categories you tell us you're interested in.
When a business expresses interest in becoming a Baka merchant, we collect the business name, category, contact name, phone number, email address and business location.
How we use your information
We use this information to build the Baka consumer and merchant community, understand demand in specific categories and neighborhoods, invite you to the Baka WhatsApp community, and contact you as new Baka rewards and businesses become available.
How we store your information
Your information is stored securely using Supabase, our database provider. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time by contacting us at the details on our Contact page.
Changes to this policy
As Baka's products grow, this policy will be updated to reflect new features such as the Baka Points wallet, merchant payments and transaction tracking.
